Giving

Suhe depends upon the donation of tithes and gifts. It does not receive government support nor any other outside financial support. The Bible teaches us to honor God with our tithes, which is how a regular portion of church needs is met. When we wish to give over the tithe, it is considered a gift.

The tithe traditionally means a tenth of income, in that the first 10% belongs to God. In the book of Malachi, it is said: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house."

Giving is something that is between God and the individual; at Suhe we do not keep track of individual giving. At the heart of the matter we support a shared culture and an attitude of giving, which many at Suhe wish to carry out in our lives and faith.
